**Definition:** Teneurin-4 (2769 aa, ~308 kDa) is encoded by the human TENM4 gene. This protein plays a role in anterior-posterior axis development during gastrulation, oligodendrocyte differentiation, neural development and the myelination of small-diameter axons.
