Malignant Brachial Plexus Neoplasm

**Definition:** A primary or metastatic malignant neoplasm that affects the brachial plexus. The most common primary malignant neoplasm of the brachial plexus is malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. Metastatic malignant neoplasms that affect the brachial plexus most commonly originate from the lung or breast. Patients may present with a palpable mass and sensory and/or motor deficits or may be asymptomatic.
