**Definition:** An oral encapsulated preparation composed of purified, freeze-dried fecal microbiota prepared from the stool of healthy donors and containing live bacteria, with potential gut microbiome restoring and immunomodulatory activities. Upon oral administration of the fecal microbiota preparation MTP-101C, the donor fecal transplant may restore the unhealthy, altered gut microbiome, enhance the microbial diversity and function in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and may re-establish a healthy microbiome in the GI tract. This may relieve GI disorders and may enhance the patients' immunological activity.
