Acute Myeloid Leukemia with KMT2A Partial Tandem Duplication

**Definition:** An acute myeloid leukemia characterized by internal duplication of the KMT2A gene. It affects older individuals, is usually associated with normal cytogenetics, and in a minority of cases co-occurs with DNMT3A and FLT3-ITD gene mutations. The prognosis is unfavorable.
