**Definition:** A therapeutic personalized cancer vaccine composed of autologous tumor cells that have been treated with a photochemical inactivation process involving ultraviolet light and riboflavin (vitamin B2), combined with the synthetic CpG motif-based oligodeoxynucleotide (CpG ODN) vaccine adjuvant CpG 1018, with potential immunostimulatory and antineoplastic activities. Upon intradermal administration, autologous tumor cells/CpG 1018-based vaccine, which contains an individual's unique set of tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), may stimulate both T-cell-mediated and antibody-medicated immune responses against tumor cells, resulting in decreased tumor growth.
