Autologous Anti-CD94 CAR-T Cells JV-394
**Semantic type:** Cell|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A preparation of autologous T-lymphocytes that have been genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the natural killer (NK) cells antigen CD94 (killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily D member 1; KLRD1), with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, autologous anti-CD94 CAR-T cells JV-394 recognize and induce selective toxicity in CD94-expressing tumor cells. CD94, a C-type lectin receptor preferentially expressed by NK cells, is expressed in some T-cell/NK-cell malignancies with restricted expression in normal tissues.
**Synonyms:** - Autologous Anti-CD94 CAR T Cells JV-394 - Autologous Anti-CD94 CAR T-cells JV-394 - JV 394 - JV-394 - JV394
