Anti-PSMA/Anti-CD3 T-cell Engager GSK5458514
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A bispecific immunoglobulin G-like T-cell engager (TCE) directed against the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) human prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) and the CD3 antigen found on T-lymphocytes, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, anti-PSMA/anti-CD3 TCE GSK5458514 targets and binds to both CD3 on cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTLs) and PSMA expressed on tumor cells. This activates and redirects CTLs to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, which results in a CTL-mediated cell death of PSMA-expressing tumor cells. PSMA is overexpressed on the surface of certain prostate cancer cells.
