**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the q27 band on the long arm of chromosome 3 and the q24 band on the long arm of chromosome 8. This translocation may be associated with VPS8-ARHGAP39 fusion gene expression and solid tumors or simultaneous rearrangements of the MYC and BCL6 genes and secondary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
