Anti-STEAP2/Anti-CD3/Anti-CD8 Trispecific Antibody AZD6621

**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance

**Definition:** A trispecific T-cell engager and antibody targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) metalloreductase six-transmembrane epithelial antigen of prostate-2 (STEAP2; STAMP1), and the T-cell surface antigens CD3 and CD8, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, anti-STEAP2/anti-CD3/anti-CD8 trispecific antibody AZD6621 targets and binds to CD3 and CD8 on cytotoxic T-cells and STEAP2 expressed on tumor cells. The resulting cross-linkage may trigger a potent cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against STEAP2-expressing tumor cells. STEAP2 is a cell surface antigen overexpressed in prostate cancer with limited expression in normal tissue.
