**Definition:** A rare squamous cell carcinoma that arises from the stomach and is characterized by the presence of well differentiated keratinizing squamous cells with minimal cytological atypia and minimal mitotic activity. It displays surface papillary projections, and its invasive component consists of broad bulbous pushing projections.
