Anti-LY6G6D/Anti-CD3 T-cell Engager CBI-1214
**Semantic type:** Amino Acid, Peptide, or Protein|Immunologic Factor|Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) directed against the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus G6D (LY6G6D) and the T-cell surface antigen CD3, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, anti-LY6G6D/anti-CD3 TCE CBI-1214 selectively targets and binds to both LY6G6D on tumor cells and CD3 on T-cells. This results in the cross-linking of tumor cells and T-cells, and induces a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against LY6G6D-positive tumor cells. LY6G6D is overexpressed on a variety of tumor cells.
