**Definition:** A mixture composed of curcuminoid phenols extracted from the plant Curcuma longa (turmeric root) with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Curcumin/demethoxycurcumin/bisdemethoxycurcumin-containing supplement is a unique combination of three phenols: curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin.
