Primary Cutaneous Mucinous Carcinoma

**Definition:** A rare low-grade carcinoma of the sweat glands. The most common sites are eyelids, scalp, axilla, face and trunk. It is histologically characterized by proliferating ducts until the overproduction of mucin creates islands of tumor cells, essentially floating in mucinous pools (Rosai J. Ackerman's Surgical Pathology).
