Castleman Disease, Hyaline-Vascular Type
**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process
**Definition:** The commonest type of Castleman disease. It is seen most commonly in the mediastinum. Histologically this is characterized by hyalinized germinal centers surrounded by small lymphocytes in a concentric fashion, giving an onion skin appearance.
