Stage IIA
**Semantic type:** Clinical Attribute
**Definition:** Invasive cancer more extensive than stage I, without spread to distant anatomic sites. The definition of stage IIA depends on the particular type of cancer that it refers to; for example, for colorectal cancer stage IIA includes: T3, N0, M0. T3: Tumor invades through the muscularis propria into pericolorectal tissues. N0: No regional lymph node metastasis. M0: No distant metastasis. (AJCC 8th ed.)
