Stage IVA

**Semantic type:** Clinical Attribute

**Definition:** Advanced cancer. The definition of stage IVA depends on the particular type of cancer that it refers to; for example, for uterine corpus carcinoma or carcinosarcoma, stage IVA includes: T4, Any N, M0. T4: Uterine corpus carcinoma or carcinosarcoma with tumor invading the bladder mucosa and/or bowel mucosa (bullous edema is not sufficient to classify a tumor as T4). M0: No distant metastasis.
