**Definition:** A peptide vaccine derived from the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) tumor suppressor protein, a general transcription factor. VHL2 (Y12M) peptide is a point mutation variant (from tyrosine to methionine at amino acid position 12) of the VHL protein. Vaccination with this peptide may stimulate a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against tumor cells expressing this VHL mutant protein.
