Recombinant Vaccinia-GM-CSF

**Definition:** A recombinant vaccinia virus that encodes granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF). By activating T-cells and macrophages, vaccination with recombinant vaccinia GM-CSF may enhance the host immune system response to poorly immunogenic tumors, resulting in decreased tumor growth.
