Mast Cell Leukemia

**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process

**Definition:** A variant of systemic mastocytosis with involvement of the bone marrow (20% or more mast cells) and the peripheral blood (mast cells account for 10% or more of peripheral blood white cells). (WHO, 2001)
