Immature B-Lymphocyte

**Semantic type:** Cell

**Definition:** A B-lymphocyte derived from a Pre B lymphocyte. It develops in bone marrow then exit via the central sinus. It goes through the vascular system to the spleen. It does not proliferate and differentiate in response to antigen, but instead responds to antigen by negative selection resulting in subsequent immune system tolerance to that antigen.
