Pectoralis Minor

**Definition:** Either of two small, triangular, bilateral muscles located inferior the pectoralis major muscle, which originate from the third to fifth ribs near their costal cartilages and inserting on the medial border and superior surface of the coracoid process of the scapula, and which function to stabilize the scapula against the thoracic wall.
