Superior Vestibular Nucleus

**Definition:** The smallest of the four vestibular nuclei located dorsally and rostrally in the vestibular complex and limited to the caudal pons, where it is situated in the wall of the 4th ventricle in the brain; it is involved in vestibuloocular reflex pathways.
