Triangular Part of the Inferior Frontal Gyrus

**Definition:** The middle of three divisions of the inferior frontal gyrus (the other two being the pars opercularis, and the pars orbitalis) situated between the ascending ramus and the horizontal ramus of the lateral fissure and contains part of Broca's area, which is an important neuroanatomical region used in speech and language production.
