**Definition:** An electrocardiographic finding of a regular supraventricular tachycardia due to reentry within the AV node. It is characterized by P waves which typically occur nearly simultaneously with the QRS complex, resulting in a P wave which is obscured by the QRS, merged with the QRS or which may follow the QRS.
