Residual Subchronic Schizophrenia

**Definition:** Subchronic schizophrenia in which the person who has experienced at least one schizophrenic episode is no longer experiencing positive symptoms (delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech or behavior) but may still experience negative symptoms (flat affect, apathy, anhedonia, avolition, alogia).
