**Definition:** A rare, malignant primitive neoplasm that occurs in the salivary glands. Most tumors arise from the parotid gland, followed by the submandibular gland, and rarely the minor salivary glands. It is usually diagnosed during the neonatal period and presents with painless face swelling.
