**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the q31.1 band on the long arm of chromosome 5 and the q32.3 band on the long arm of chromosome 14. This rearrangement is associated with aberrant expression of the IL3 gene and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with hypereosinophilia.
