**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the q28 band on the long arm of the X chromosome and the q11 band on the long arm of chromosome 14. This rearrangement is associated with aberrant expression of the MTCP1 gene and T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
