**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the q25 band on the long arm of chromosome 1 and the p23 band on the short arm of chromosome 2. This translocation may be associated with TPM3-ALK fusion gene expression and anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
