**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the p23 band on the short arm of chromosome 2 and the q23 band on the long arm of chromosome 17. This rearrangement is associated with CLTC-ALK fusion gene expression and anaplasic large cell lymphoma.
