Progressive Transformation of Germinal Centers

**Definition:** A morphologic finding characterized by the enlargement of germinal centers as mantle zone B-cells migrate and disrupt the follicular dendritic meshwork. The infiltrated germinal centers undergo lysis which results in the formation of irregular clusters of centrocytes and centroblasts with associated stromal distortion.
