Exocrine Pancreas Carcinoma

**Definition:** A carcinoma that arises from the exocrine pancreas. The vast majority of exocrine pancreas carcinomas are adenocarcinomas. The main subtype of pancreatic adenocarcinoma is ductal adenocarcinoma, which is the most frequently seen type of pancreatic carcinoma.
