Cervical Leukoplakia

**Semantic type:** Disease or Syndrome

**Definition:** The presence of whitish patches on the mucosal surface of the cervix. Histologic examination reveals hyperkeratosis. In a minority of cases, underlying dysplasia or carcinoma in situ is present.
