**Definition:** A chromosomal translocation involving breakpoints within the p14 band on the short arm of chromosome 3 and the q24 band on the long arm of chromosome 8. This rearrangement may be associated with PVT1-ARHGEF3 fusion gene expression and renal cell carcinoma.
