**Definition:** Integrin Inhibition involves interference with, or restraint of, the activities of a family of noncovalent heterodimeric transmembrane glycoprotein signal transduction receptors for fibronectin, laminin, and other adhesive extracellular matrix glycoproteins, complement, and other cells. Different alpha and beta complexes vary in ligand-specificity and the intracellular domains interact with cytoskeleton.
