Syringocystadenoma Papilliferum
**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process
**Definition:** A benign apocrine neoplasm that usually arises from the head and neck and presents with a papular, nodular, cystic, or verrucous lesion. It is characterized by an endophytic invagination of the epithelium into the dermis. There are dermal cystic spaces present, containing villous projections. Complete excision is curative.
