Bronchial Squamous Papilloma
**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process
**Definition:** A papillary neoplasm that arises endobronchially and is characterized by the presence of a delicate fibrovascular core lined by stratified squamous epithelium. Patients usually present with signs and symptoms of bronchial obstruction. Because of the possibility of recurrence and reported cases of squamous cell carcinomas arising at the excision site of squamous papillomas, complete excision is indicated.
