Lung Melanoma

**Definition:** A rare malignant neoplasm that derives from melanocytes and arises from the lung in a patient with no history of previous melanoma and no evidence of melanoma in another site at the time of diagnosis. It usually presents as a solitary lesion and the prognosis is poor.
