**Definition:** A microRNA that has seven isofoms and is known to be a regulator of the RAS oncogene. The length of the miRNA is ~22 nucleotides, and the 3' UTR is the mechanistic path of regulation. The let-7 isoforms have been implicated in a variety of cancers, including lung and breast.
