WNT10A wt Allele

**Definition:** Human WNT10A wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 2q35 and is approximately 13 kb in length. This allele, which encodes protein wnt-10a, plays a role in cellular differentiation. The wild-type allele is expressed aberrantly at elevated levels in promyelocytic leukemia, Burkitt's lymphoma and colorectal cancer.
