Esophageal Squamous Papilloma

**Definition:** A rare benign neoplasm that arises from the lower or middle esophagus and is characterized by the presence of squamous epithelial proliferation with a papillary growth pattern. It does not recur after resection and progression to squamous cell carcinoma is extremely rare.
