**Definition:** A strong, compact, working dog with high set and erect ears. The large "snow shoe" feet have hair between the toes for gripping on ice. It has a thick, wooly undercoat and soft outer coat. Coat colors include black and white, grey and white, sable and white, agouti and white, and white. The face mask and underbody are usually white. The average height range is 20-23.5 inches and the average weight range is 35-60 pounds.
