**Definition:** A small dog in stature, but wide and compact, with a thick, massive head. The skin on the skull and forehead should fall in dense folds. The ears should be small and thin, and folded back in the form of a rose. The coat may be red, fawn, brindle, pale yellow, washed-out red, or white. The average height range is 12-16 inches and the average weight range is 49-55 pounds.
