TRIM13 wt Allele

**Definition:** Human TRIM13 wild-type allele is located within 13q14 and is approximately 21 kb in length. This allele, which encodes tripartite motif-containing protein 13, plays a putative role in the inhibition of cell growth and proliferation. Loss of TRIM13 gene function may be associated with chronic B-cell leukemia.
