Rectal Medullary Carcinoma

**Definition:** A rare, invasive rectal adenocarcinoma characterized by the presence of sheets of malignant epithelial cells with vesicular nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. It usually has a favorable prognosis.
