**Definition:** Lung cancer with a tumor size of greater than 3 cm in greatest dimension, or a tumor of any size extending into the main bronchus (2 cm or more distal to the carina), or a tumor of any size invading the visceral pleura, or a tumor with atelectasis or obstructive pneumonitis extending to the hilar region without involving the entire lung.
