Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonia

**Definition:** A form of organizing pneumonia with a non-infectious etiology. Excessive proliferation of granulation tissue occurs in alveolar ducts and alveoli and primarily causes injury to alveolar walls, but bronchioles may be affected.
