Cytarabine-Mitoxantrone Regimen

**Definition:** A regimen consisting of cytarabine and mitoxantrone used as both induction and consolidation (post remission) treatment for acute myeloid leukemia. This regimen is also used to treat relapsed or refractory childhood acute myeloid leukemia.
