**Semantic type:** Quantitative Concept
**Definition:** A statistical method used for multiple testing corrections to control the expected proportion of false positives (Type I error) among rejected tests or hypotheses. It is less stringent than other multiple testing corrections and thereby, will allow a percentage of false positives.
