**Definition:** A mesenchymal neoplasm arising from the perivascular cells of connective and soft tissue. It is characterized by the presence of pericytes that grow in a circumferential pattern around vessels. There is no evidence of atypical or malignant cytological and architectural features, invasive features, or metastases.
